Topping-out ceremony for Viktoria Karree: Another milestone for HBB Projektentwicklung in Bochum
Bochum 23.09.2021 – Today we proudly celebrate the topping-out ceremony for our current mixed-use project development: the Viktoria Karree in Bochum.
The Viktoria Karree will be a mixed-use quarter with an urban circulation with street character. In total, Viktoria Karree will offer around 37,500 m² of leasable space, of which approx. 21,000 m² will be office space, approx. 8,000 m² will be retail, service and restaurant space, and approx. 6,500 m² will be space for a hotel and approx. 2,000 m² for a planned fitness studio. The retail will be complemented by a spacious underground parking garage with around 500 parking spaces on two levels, which is connected to the municipal underground parking system. Flexible office space for several users with different requirements will be created on the upper floors. The total construction time will be more than two years, and completion of the complex overall project with various structures is scheduled for 2022.
The project already has a high occupancy rate. Among others, Rewe Dortmund, easy Apotheke, Decathlon Sport, the Holiday Inn Express hotel with the operator Tristar, Regus Co-Working, the city of Bochum and “Bochum Wirtschaftsentwicklung” as parking garage operator have already been confirmed as tenants. We are pleased to be able to celebrate another milestone in the development of the Viktoria-Karte with the topping-out ceremony today and are now looking forward all the more to the planned opening in 2022.
