HBB observes the main requirements of the “Code of Conduct”, the prominent representative of the Retailing and Retail Property Industry, moderated by the German Council of Shopping Places having formulated the overall guidelines for collaboration during the Corona Crisis.

In addition, we have created a synopsis for all tenants at our Centres, in which the current federal and regional help packages, along with all the essential, basic information are summarised.

Henderson Park and HBB take over the “Rathaus-Galerie Essen” – Henderson Park debuts on the market in Germany
London, Hamburg 11 September 2019 – Henderson Park, the European Private Equity property platform, and “HBB Hanseatische Betreuungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH” have acquired the “Rathaus Galerie” shopping precinct in inner city Essen. Henderson Park acquired the property in a joint venture with HBB, one of the leading German developers, investors and operators in retail property.
Topping-out garland on the new Senior Citizens’ Retirement Home
Bayreuth, October 2019: On 24/10/2019 the topping-out garland was raised over the new Senior Citizens’ Retirement Home in “Scheffelstraße”. In March 2019, the general contractor, “Riedel Bau GmbH & Co. KG”, started construction work and after only six months the topping-out ceremony could take place. The investor is the Hamburg business group HBB, who for and on behalf of “Scheck Zweite Grundbesitz KG” completed the building work.
Early in 2020, construction started on the Senior Citizens’ Retirement Home in Heilsberg
Bad Vilbel, September 2019: “HBB Hanseatische Gesellschaft für Seniorenimmobilien II mbH & Co.” being the investor. KG from Hamburg has recently awarded the construction contract for the Senior Citizens’ Retirement Home planned by them on the Heilsberg in Bad Vilbel to a capable construction company. The successful construction company, “Glöckle SF-Bau GmbH “ from Schweinfurt, will start construction work early next year. The building’s completion is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2021.
HBB is awarded the contract to restructure the “Adler Centre” in Wiesbaden
The owner of the shopping precinct, known as the Adler Centre in Wiesbaden’s “Äppelallee”, has charged “HBB Hanseatische Betreuungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft” from Hamburg with developing a new concept and restructuring the property. As a result, the architectural configuration of the Centre has been completely reworked and endowed with a modern and inviting facade. Particular attention in this case was also given to the layout of “Seligmann-Baer-Platz”.
Start of construction for Senior Citizens’ Retirement Home in summer 2019
The investor “HBB Hanseatische Gesellschaft für Seniorenimmobilien II GmbH & Co. KG” has appointed the building of the Senior Citizens’ Retirement Home planned by them in the “Carl-Damm-Straße” to a capable building company. The successful firm, “Riedel Bau GmbH & Co. KG” from Schweinfurt will start building on-site in the summer of this year. The opening of the house is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2021.

The Hamburg business group HBB, for and on behalf of the “Scheck Zweite Grundbesitz KG” is building the DOMICIL Senior Citizens’ Retirement Home in the “Kreuz” area of town in”Preuschwitzer Straße”. Construction has been entrusted to a capable building company. The successful firm, “Riedel Bau GmbH & Co. KG” from Schweinfurt will start building on-site in March of 2019. The opening of the house is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2020
